Sherrill- Thank you for commenting on my blog post, “Is Please Still the Magic Word?”. You’re correct, proper etiquette and good manners are essential lessons for children to learn early. It’s great to see a book that helps remind parents to get their children off to a good start early with skills that will serve them for a lifetime in both their work and personal lives. Another thought- once we do grow up- we need not only to remember to say it when interacting with adults, but also to say “please” to our own children when asking them to help around the house, do chores, etc., everyone deserves this common courtesy!
