I got this lovely comment in response to the My Fingerpaint Masterpiece giveaway:

“Thanks so much for the great give-away. We are asking everyone to dedicate a book to the new baby instead of a card & this would be great for the library!  It’s for my grandson but a really great idea. Why waste money on a shower card when you can buy the baby a book and put something in the front cover. A  memento for years to come!”

(If she doesn’t win the giveaway, I’ve offered to send a book for the “library baby shower” anyway!)

My Fingerpaint Masterpiece Wins Gold in 2014 Readers’ Favorite International Awards, Children K-3, and my illustrator, Kalpart, wins Illustration Award!

I am so thrilled to announce that My Fingerpaint Masterpiece has won the Gold Medal in the 2014 Readers’ Favorite International Awards in the Children K-3 category!  Even, better, it has also won an Illustrator Award for my awesome illustrator, Kalpart!!!  Kalpart has illustrated all my books, and I couldn’t be more happy for KJ and her team of illustrators!  They created the “masterpiece” for My Fingerpaint Masterpiece!!
