A Penny for Your Thoughts accepted by the Library

Finally one of my books has been accepted by our Library system, since it has the Author Name and Title on the spine of the book.  It also helps that this book is also available in a hard cover version!

I am thrilled about this inclusion in the local libraries and am looking forward to seeing the book  on the shelves!

My children’s books, in the interest of keeping the cost of the books low enough for teachers to buy, do not have that information on the spines…(my daughter, the teacher, informed me long ago that my books had to be close to $10 for teachers to be able to afford to buy them for their classrooms.) Additional printer costs would eliminate that cost requirement.

Now I will submit a request for inclusion for other libraries… Yay!!

Special Flag Day Premiere of School Play “The Re-United States of America”

This Flag Day was the Premiere Performance of The Re-United States of America – by Sherrill S. Cannon and Kerry E. Gallagher

Happy Flag Day!

This our sixth joint production, five of which have been published by Lazy Bee Scripts and performed internationally in over 20 countries including the U.S., Canada and the U.K.

The play is for elementary school 4th grade students who are learning about the United States and their Capitals. It was wonderful to perform it for the first time on Flag Day!

It’s also very meaningful to collaborate with my daughter – writing together such a special play, performed on such a special day!  There is another performance for the parents tonight…
