A Note about A Dime is a Sign from a Former Classmate

Note from a Classmate

Lovely note from a former classmate…

“I read A Dime is a Sign from cover to cover, hadn’t intended to do it so quickly but found it almost impossible to put down, and finished it up in the middle of last night.  I thought it was wonderful…, I decided to mark off which poems I liked the best or felt that connected with me especially, so made a light mark in pencil so that I would be sure and tell you which ones.  And, lo and behold, it is a list that goes on forever, so it would be senseless to tell you.  But I wanted to tell you that I liked A Dime is a Sign tremendously…I am so sure that I know which one was used for the wedding, at least I thought so the minute I read it. “I Love You” is what I chose. Do you know which one it was?…One poem that I found particularly lovely was “Worship” and would love to see that used at the Cathedral during a service someday.  All in all, a most fabulous collection of your poetry.. I will read it over and over again.  You made me feel warm and fuzzy.  What a talent you have for writing and giving happiness.  Lucky you!”

Thank you, Betsy!
