“When my children were younger they enjoyed Sherrill Cannon’s original illustrated, “Peter and the Whimper-Whineys.” Written in Cannon’s characteristic rhyming prose, both the illustrated and coloring editions help children learn about good manners, specifically that whining won’t get them very far in life. The coloring book is a great way to teach children about the drawbacks of whining, but it also helps encourage their artistic skills. What better way to drive the message home than to have kids color the line drawings in their favorite colors while customizing the illustrations to fit their own style! The story itself is a great teaching tool, but the coloring edition allows children to be more interactive and strengthens the book’s valuable life lessons”
This coloring book is the same as the original Peter and the Whimper-Whineys, but the illustrations have been traced to make them colorable… Bring out the hidden-illustrator in your child!! I’d love to see some of the results, and post them if you like!

I am a fat old man but I love to color in children’s coloring books. It makes me forget all of my adult problems and I can pretend that I am 5 in my grandmother’s kitchen again. You should try it and I recommend this book. Just color away and remember happier times when your business was successful and your friends were still alive. It works.
