We are so pleased to announce that Sherrill S. Cannon has now won 101 awards for her children’s books! We tried to quickly put together a press release announcing the 100thaward, but then her coloring book for My Little Angel won an award and that put her at 101. We just can’t keep up!
For those who don’t know Sherrill, back in 2009, we published a children’s Christmas book she wrote titled Santa’s Birthday Gift. It became one of our best-selling children’s books and garnered many awards and accolades, and remains a holiday favorite for children and parents alike. She went to write nine more children’s books and two books of adult poetry, and they all won awards as well.
During the pandemic, she wanted to provide something more to children in terms of entertainment so she had the idea of turning Peter and the Whimper-Whineys into a coloring book. Children, parents, and educators loved this idea so we also produced My Little Angel as a coloring book and next will be My Fingerpaint Masterpiece.

(Incidentally, The Golden Rule Coloring Book is now a medalist in the FAPA Awards to be announced at the end of the month. So Award total is now 102…)
