I received the cutest note from a Mom. As mentioned in the back of my Manner-Man book, a child can request a Manner-Man badge. I love this comment!
“Thank you so much for the sticker — my son has placed it on the very front of his construction helmet that he wears at all times. He is now a walking advertisement for Manner-Man! It gets quite the reaction from moms at the park.”

I sent copies of The Magic Word, Gimme-Jimmy and Manner-Man to another JM Family, since there are so many references to the CureJM Foundation in them – and little Addie of Addie’s Angels is one of the characters on the cover of Manner-Man (the little girl in the turquoise blue dress.) It is so hard for these children with Juvenile Myositis to have to cope with incurable disease, and that is why I have my CureJM Fundraiser at http://sbpra.com/curejm where 50% of the cost of my books goes to the CureJM Foundation. We need to find a cure!!!
I was delighted to find that the little 3-year old really loves the books. Here is the message from her mother:
“Oh my goodness, we received the books yesterday afternoon. I love them and so do the kids. I must have read them to Ashlyn at least a dozen times already each. She absolutely LOVES manner man and went to bed doing his code. LOL. Thank you so much. They are fantastic. You are so talented.”
And she also posted the following on Facebook:
“These books are absolutely fantastic, Sherrill sent us some and we cannot stop reading them, that includes me too. The messages in the books are fantastic. I love the way they read too. They just flow! Very easy to read. My grandbaby loves them too. Manner man is her absolute favorite and she goes to bed saying his motto, it is great!”

Addie is also on the Acknowledgements Page, as Captain of the Manner-Man Team, and there are many other children’s names there as team members – many of whom are also suffering with Juvenile Myositis. We are hoping to help find a cure for this incurable children’s disease. 50% of the cost of the books on the CureJM Fundraiser site goes to the CureJM Foundation to help find a cure!!!
