“M. and W. came into my room when they woke up this morning and I was glad to have the book Sherrill S. Cannon gave me to give them for their birthday. Her latest rhyming children’s book, The Golden Rule, elicited a few comments:
6 year old W. after ‘reading’ it said ‘this book is like her others. There is a problem in every book and the kids are trying to figure it out. It was funny how he confused rule with ruler.’
M… ‘my major ‘rule’ is “treat others the way you want to be treated” so I really like this book.’
