These poems are delightful. Sherrill has such talent in writing poems and expressing herself. One of my favorites in this book is “A Look” because it is romantic. In this poem, she writes: Never let that look go from your eyes… the one that stops my breath and grips my heart. Sherrill then describes the look: That look that says “I love you” in a tone of powerful and rich intensity. The romance grows as she continues: I can feel my soul and heart enlarge, receiving and transmitting love’s deep gaze. This poem is simply lovely and has deep meaning. The whole book is full of rhyme and beauty. I feel as if I were spiritually fed.
