Treat Others the Way You’d Like to be Treated

I love reviews, especially when children write them.  I received this review from Reader Views:

“The Golden Rule” by Sherrill S. Cannon, is about two siblings that were trying to look for a ruler that their mom always talked about. They thought the best place to look for it was at school but they couldn’t find it. After looking all over and not finding it, one of them realized that is was not a golden ruler it was a rule. A rule that is to be used not only at school, but everywhere.

It says, “Treat others the way you’d liked to be treated.”

It is a very good rule that will always make you think and be aware of what is around us and make good use of it. I think it is a great message for all kids.

This is a great book. I love the rhyming. It is really a keeper for all ages.

A Note from Paola’s Mom:

“The Golden Rule” by Sherrill S. Cannon is a wonderful book that kids will enjoy not only the rhyming but also the message in it.

For us to teach and for them to learn to be nice, kind and treat other the same way they want to be treated sometimes is not easy. It is a fun way to reinforce the great “Golden Rule.” Paola really loved it.

Thanks so much for sharing!
